Noel Edmonds vs. Lloyds Bank
Noel’s Most Famous Creation? Mr Blobby

The Noel Edmonds case against Lloyds bank is proving as enduring as Jarndyce & Jarndyce, as Britain’s favourite TV and radio personality strives for justice for actions taken by Lloyds from 2009 onwards. Today, after key details were leaked to Sky News, he has come back out of the blocks to ask two interesting questions:-

  1. Do Lloyds ever use intimidation to frighten those who oppose them?
  2. Did Lloyds employ two men to threaten Noel Edmonds in France last July?

Based on anecdotes shared by customers of RBS, and the revelations in the press last week about industrial espionage by companies like C2i, we have to assume that Noel Edmonds, and the rest of the world, believes the answer to both questions is YES.

The £300 million price tag associated with the Edmonds case has been debunked by Noel himself, suggesting the true figure is around £50 million. We understand Noel has the funds and the inclination to take his case to trial, unless Lloyds comes up with an uncharacteristically generous, and highly unlikely, improved offer.
