I Could Complain by Zoee

She's just got it! There's nothing more I can write about Zoee or her new release, and my own new release of this week, I Could Complain. Literally nothing.

I Could Complain by Zoee
Zoee is not a moaner. She does not complain about anything. In some ways she is lucky to be alive, and spreads nothing but kindness wherever she goes.
Zoee: Double E Delight
What just happened? I’m talking to a Tasmanian dirt bike racer who became a professional musician in Nashville after a near death experience

Only joking! I will be writing more as the album release approaches.

Cause I Got You by Mose Wilson

Already wrote about Mose too. I am seeing him in London on 10th July and will write about that show.

Cause I Got You by Mose Wilson
Mose Wilson can sing and write but he’s also a producer. He’s back on top form with this proper Country song that made me properly smile after a long, warm spring day.

I'm Indestructible by Andrew Adkins

Andrew somehow wandered across my brain from an unlikely direction. He is releasing new music soon: next single July 11. This is a proper dark country cowboy song. Haunting. The theme from the best horror movie yet to be made. Which is interesting because his music already appears on just about every streaming service in shows which have been made.

New Day Tonight by Michael Rault

The Weekly 12 features old and new music. I got to know Michael a little bit through Pearl Charles. Happy to be one of the backroom boys, as am I, Michael's solo work is exceptional. My mind jumped to Bob Welch, who once sang a few songs with Fleetwood Mac in the early 1970s, which is where Michael and Pearl currently reside.

Stones by Rae Isla

New article coming this week! Thanks to Ali Angel for introducing me to the enigmatic cowboy, Rae Isla.

Dirty Wings by Zandi Holup

I have written about Zandi twice now. It really does help when the artist appreciates my words. We appreciate Zandi. New album on the way! And a lot more from me too. Zandi was kind enough to say that the Dirty Wings piece "seems to understand my art at a deep level" which is all the reward I ever wish for.

Zandi Holup has Clean Wings
The more you listen to Zandi Holup, the deeper and further you fall. Whoever you are.
Zandi Holup is More Than You Can Handle
Zandi is an American and has recently signed to a record label. But that name! I am told it originates in eastern Europe. There is also some kind of Swedish vibe here. Pennsylvania can be like that sometimes.

Weekly 12

I started a rotating Weekly 12 playlist last month. I had so many great songs on my Country playlist but when it hit 50 songs and kept growing I knew that nobody would ever listen to all of it. So the idea is you keep one link and subscribe once to the Weekly 12, but the 12 songs change every week on a Wednesday. The songs include some releases from that week and some older songs, but they are all either up-and-coming young artists or fully indie artists.
