You know I love your stuff because I support you on Patreon. But I think this article could be better balanced. Why single out the UK’s position? The US position is even more insidious. Maybe because you are based here? Fine, but it’s not clear.

I would rather the UK control Africa’s oil than Iran or Russia. And rather us than Africa, who make a mess of everything on their own — look at Zuma. Look at Zimbabwe.
